If you are a major artist, label, or manager; I plead for your understanding… Stop wasting time dealing with massive impersonal "write anything, sell anything" publishing firms. Stop dealing with song-pluggers that will sell you B-grade material for their commission. It doesn't matter how many big artists a firm has serviced in the past. It doesn't matter how many songwriters they employ. There is one thing, and only one thing that matters: the quality of each individual song. Use that as your guiding light, and you'll achieve greatness in this industry. At HMP we are all about integrity.
We have a vault of timeless songs waiting for you. And, in the rare event that we don't, and you’re not an exact fit for our material, we will tell you that. Put another way: we won't sell you B-grade songs (don't have any). We also won't sell you "not-exact-fit" songs that we don't think will elevate an artist’s career.
